We visited Kenny’s mum in the village of Muzi and stayed there for 3 nights. I met a lot of Kenny’s family as they returned to Muzi to take part in the ceremony of looking after their father’s grave and the rest of the ancestors.
The house has recently been upgraded and is now 4 stories with 5 bedrooms and 2 large living areas. On Kenny’s previous trip home, he had helped with some of the building work and bought decorations and paintings for the house. He had ordered more to be delivered there before we arrived this time and he was able to organise them in the house when we got there. He also spent time with plantings and pruning of the plants in the backyard garden and the courtyard.

We visited the old house where Kenny was brought up.
It is now derelict with no-one living there, but it was very interesting to see.
